The Legal Assistant is responsible for working all accounts referred out to local counsel. This person is responsible for loading legal accounts into Q-Law, entering suit and judgement information, preparing affidavits for review, and providing documents to local counsel.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to local counsel correspondence daily.
  • FTP Management / document submission.
  • Enter suit and judgement information.
  • Prepare affidavits in support of litigation.
  • General document generation.
  • General administrative support tasks for department.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • 1+ years of legal administration experience.
  • Must be highly meticulous and pay great attention to compliance and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to audit and update vast amounts of data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - ability to format/create templates and other reports in Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Adobe.
  • Ability to effectively work as a team.
  • Experience with Data Tree and TLO is a plus.
